A bit about me

I am a therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I have over 10 years of experience working with adults with complex mental health needs and with substance use disorders and the people who care for them. I work in public health and have worked with people in both hospital and community settings and in various roles such as caregiving, social work and therapy. I work with people individually, with families and in group settings. I take an eclectic approach to therapy and draw from Cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Grief work. I am passionate about helping people to develop skills, strategies and to connect to their inner wisdom to better understand who they are and what they need to start the healing process. I believe that we all have the capacity to heal ourselves and we can do this by getting to know ourselves more deeply, connecting to one another and challenging ourselves to make changes in our lives. I can offer a safe space to explore your experiences, feelings and to develop skills for improving your current situation. Change is scary and difficult, but you do not have to do it alone. Connect with me to set up a free 15-minute consultation and begin your healing journey today.
